The Tundra and its Tourist Attractions

2. The tundra exists in locations between 55 N and 70 N It is in Alaska, Greenland, Russia, and Canada

5. Precipitation There are about six to ten inches of rain, which is mostly snow, per year. Permafrost is a permanently frozen layer of Earth that causes slow evaporation. Which makes for less precipitation per year.
