BIAZA - REGUA visit April 2010 Sat seventeenth: fly BA from Heathrow leaving at 1315. Touch base in Rio at 2055 and go by smaller than usual transport to REGUA which takes around 2 hours.

BIAZA - REGUA visit 2010 Sun eighteenth: a lackadaisical day around the Lodge and wetlands finding out about the numerous parts of the REGUA venture.

BIAZA - REGUA visit 2010 Mon nineteenth: A guided stroll up the Waterfall Trail with an outing lunch, coming back to the Lodge at around 4pm. Trail length around 5 km.

BIAZA - REGUA visit 2010 Tue twentieth: an promising start to visit the orchid store of David Miller at Macae de Cima and see some higher height timberland. The excursion by transport takes around 2 hours every way and we will land back late evening.

BIAZA - REGUA visit 2010 Wed 21st: A morning visit to the recently obtained BIAZA hold, returning for lunch at the Lodge. The evening kept allowed to investigate the wetlands or unwind in the greenhouse. A night stroll to search for Caiman, Capybara, night fowls and different animals can be organized.

BIAZA - REGUA visit 2010 Thu 22nd: A morning voyage through the adjacent Primatology Center to see the primate accumulation and find out about their work. The Center is around one hour from REGUA and we will return for a late lunch. Strolls will be organized toward the evening for those intrigued.

BIAZA - REGUA visit 2010 Fri 23rd: A morning voyage through the Matumbo Gap timberland, with an opportunity to see a portion of the dangers to the region and our most recent backwoods reclamation work.

BIAZA - REGUA visit 2010 Sat 24th: After breakfast leave REGUA and drive to Rio to visit the Botanical Gardens. Lunch will be taken in the cafeteria and after that supper at a common Brazilian "grill" or Churascaria, touching base at the airplane terminal in a lot of time to get the BA flight at 2225
