TRANSFORMATION Prior to 2007 the South African Hockey Association did not have a change approach. When I was chosen President in June 2006 I co-picked a man to sit on the Executive to drive change inside of Hockey and in conjunction with the Executive drafted the present arrangement, which became effective in March 2007. Process of Meetings with SASCOC Following the 2 groups capability at the Africa Qualifier in Kenya in July 2007, the South African Hockey Association had a meeting with SASCOC to persuade why the 2 groups ought to be considered for incorporation in TEAM SOUTH AFRICA for the Beijing Olympics The South African Hockey Association got a MOU from SASCOC on the conditions for our interest.
