Wells, The Providence American Article 19 Apr 07. Bar date 13 – 17 May 2007. Specialized Assistance gave to Pennsylvania outlining workforce improvement exercises (group suppliers to help with psychological well-being administer to returning military individuals/families) Spoke with Walter Stone (esq.) from the RI Foundation in regards to bolster for Veterans Task Force and new activities Development of Resource Guide (through Sen. Reed\'s office) Stacy Viens upgrading content; spread at ISFAC meeting; at present anticipating proposed content changes

Veterans Task Force of Rhode Island Highlights Met with Kenny Carnes, an author, entertainer and Army veteran to talk about future shared exercises (theater generation Pieces of War, given at universities to raise the level of mindfulness) Met with Dr. John Rodolico, McLean Hospital, MA, Commander of Combat Stress Unit in Iraq (interface w/Tri-Care, Brown) New Mexico Blueprint will be presented on July 31, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM (Dr. Storti going to) Providing face to face counsel to Virginia – commence gathering planned for September, 2007 Briefed Dr. Clark, Director of the Center for Substance Abuse on treatment of current status of veterans activity (steady, searching for financing) Presented at the principal local workshop tending to the issues confronted by returning military individuals and their families (Multi-disciplinary medicinal services suppliers)

Veterans Task Force of Rhode Island Highlights Forwarded the RI Blueprint and Handbook to the American Psychological Association (req. of Dr. Johnston VA) National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors accused of creating projects to address needs of returning military individuals and their families. RI highlighted as the national model to take after. (at yearly gathering) Request for specialized help from Oklahoma (sent data) Collaborated with Mark Paolicelli, Military authoritative Fellow, Office of Senator Jack Reed in composing an alteration to the Dignified Treatment of Wounded Warriors charge Met with Ann Balboni, PsyD to diagram operational rules for the associate bolster program
