Slide4Greg Heffley and his family start a new year. A lot of things have changed in school. He still likes holly but she doesn’t know who he is, she mistakes him for Fregley. His dad does not like that he’s not athletic and he is going to send Greg to military school. Before he went off to military school he wanted to see Holly and hope she would like him, so he asked his mom to drive him and Rowley to the skating rink. She still didn’t like him so he gave up on trying to impress her. He found out that if he joined boy scout he could convince his dad in not sending him off to military school. One day the leader of the camping trip said “listen up scouts there will be a father son camping trip”. Greg went home and told his dad about that and he was excited. But the day the trip came Greg woke up really sick. So his dad had to go alone and sleep with two other boys in the same tent. Well that didn’t turn out well because they were playing with a football and they got mad and started fighting. One of the boys had to go to the hospital. When Greg’s dad got back he was mad. So he changed his mine and wanted to send Greg to military school. What saved Greg from going to military school was that they went to a little boy’s half year birthday party, and the parents have to try to make the baby laugh. Greg’s dad didn’t like to do that. So Greg jumped on a tree branch and yelled so that there would be a disruption and his dad wouldn’t make him self look like a fool.

Slide5I would recommend this book because it’s a good book to read. It’s also a interesting book and cool to read.
