Slide2A Play Pump A play pump is a system that uses the energy of children at play to operate a water pump. There are more than 1000 play pumps in Africa, providing clean drinking water to more than one million thirsty people.

Slide3How We Will Earn The MoneyA play pump costs $14000 dollars. A company named Nestle said that if we earn $7000 dollars they will match our price. So far we have raised $200 dollars. Fortunately, another school donated $1000 dollars to us. So now our total is $1200. We are trying to earn the rest of the money by selling water bottles for $1.

Slide4Why We Need To Build A PlayPump  Many people in Africa do not have access to clean drinking water. So they have to walk for miles to find water. Often the water is very dirty and carries diseases that are very harmful. Sometimes they fight over the dirty water.
