Introduce language through the young soldiers sad movements from birth to death by i) Allowing pupils to search for similarities in meanings (in groups/pairs) ii) And to answer (in English) the prompt/question sheet provided Pit stop share with a partner 3 of the actions of the soldier which you can easily remember. Match up English/French of each of the soldiers movement in life. Plenary we have discovered 10 actions in the life of the soldier from birth to death. Can you give them in English, then French following the circle of his life.

Je suis rest Chambord deux semaines puis, lattaque du chteau Blois! Je suis arriv au chateau cheval. Mais aprs quelques heures je suis mont les murailles en pierre. Ctait difficile et je suis tomb dans la douve! Je suis parti de la douve avec difficult. Puis je suis venu la motte. Lattaque tait froce trs, trs froce et je suis mort, soldat courageux, lage de 17 ans!
