Slide2What You Have ToDo • Read a book off of the psych/soc list. • Take an AR test. • Write a paper.
Slide3When is it due?• March 31 • AR tests will not be accepted after this date. • Students who do not have their papers finished before class will be penalized.
Slide4How Much is itWorth? • AR test = 100 points • Paper = 100 points • Total = 200 points!
Slide5What is the PaperAbout? • Length = 1 page minimum • Topic: • Write a review of the book. What was it about, how was it, your opinions, etc. • Write a letter to the school board
Slide6Letter?• As part of your paper you will write a letter to the school board telling why your book should be banned OR why it should not be banned. • Be sure to include specifics from the book as to why it should (not) be banned.
