Slide7Technoparks around the World• Technopark establishment s started with Silicon Valle y, USA in 1951 with the leadership of Stanford University in California USA • USA was followed by developed European countries and Japan over the next 20 years • 1980’s: technoparks increased dramatically particularly in USA, England, Spain, Italy, Germany and Japan • In 2000’s: spread all over the World, including China • R ecently, there are approximately 9 00 technoparks in operation in the world.
