Slide4L’Histoire• started in a suburb of Paris called Évry • Évry- mishmash of stairs, decks, catwalks and roofs at different heights • inventor's father/teacher was born in French Vietnam • 90 year old discipline which evolved into acrobatic movements • was introduced by the French military in the 1920’s • Refinement of human movement rather than a new skill • stuntmen and martial arts film actors have been doing similar things for years, a good recent example being Jackie Chan .
