Torticollis is a painful condition where the neck is bent in a tortuous position. Chiropractic science has determined it is caused by a misaligned vertebra and a change in the position of the disc nucleus. This locking is called a disc block subluxation. Muscle treatments fail since the muscle problem is secondary.
